Slow Down, RaSheba
2020 has been such an unexpected year. It has changed the trajectory of everyone’s life.
For me, it’s been a blessing in disguise. It has been a sign for me to slow down. I spend so much time reflecting and correcting my behaviors or actions. I’ve realized that I can rush the process. As cliche as it is I have to remind myself that things do take time.
I look back at the many of things I’ve started like this blog and my business and how impatient I was that I gave up and took a step back. This year has taught me to slow down, put in the work and be patient. Everything is coming together in its divine timing.
It’s the excitement of my end goal that gets me so thrilled to work hard that I overwhelm myself and don’t end up with the results. Even when it comes to love and dating. You can’t rush anything or force things
It can be a challenge when you know something is exactly what you want/need, but you have to wait for things to grow and build over time. Moving forward I plan on slowing down and taking things one day at a time. If there’s downtime, I rest, research and plan for when things get back moving.
What has been the biggest lesson you’ve learned for 2020?
