Completing a cleanse is always a good decision for the body as it provides many benefits. From cleansing out toxins or bad foods, resetting the body and providing fresh and new energy.
I was walking past another juicing place and remembered I still had not tried Pressed Juicery. just my luck Pressed was having a sale 3 for $15. My friend pointed out that Pressed Juicery already has a bundle deal of 5 juices for $29.50, but I could get 6 juices for $30. Which would be ultimately providing me a juice for free. I decided that was my sign I needed to do a cleanse. Aside from all the bad eating I had done since being in New York City.
It has been a while since I did a cleanse and shared with you all my Dr.Oz Weekend Juice Cleanse experience. I decided I just wanted to do a simple juice cleanse and just do a 1-Day Juice cleanse. I opted for the Pressed Juice Cleanse 2 and switched out the last juice of the cleanse, vanilla almond for chocolate almond.
The night before, I had so many different cravings in my mouth, but went with Thai food. I ordered steamed vegetables and soup. Which is far from my usual order.
The next day I began the cleanse with water and the first juice, greens 2. By the second juice, citrus 2, I was on the toilet but in a good way, having a well-needed bowel movement. I felt the food from last night or whatever was in my stomach being pushed out. I felt light and got a burst of energy that I hadn’t felt in a while.
Throughout the day I kept drinking water and aiming to dink a juice every 1 to 2 hours. If the sudden urge to eat came on I just drank water or sipped on my juice.
In my opinion this was one of the best juice cleanses I had done in a while. My goal is to aim for the Cleanse 3 but a 3-day juice next time.
Have you done a cleanse before? What was the experience like for you?
