6 Months In New York City

I can’t believe it’s been six months that I’ve been in New York City.

Well everyday on the first of the month I’m reminded when rent is due, lolz.

Nevertheless it has been an adventure and I still am grateful for this opportunity to be here.

I’ve met some amazingly interesting people. Had a few late night adventures and I learned the MTA train real quick.

I’ve also had some dark moments, I’ve ever seen negative or overdrawn in my bank account so much.

New York definitely has a higher price range but it has been pushing me to grind harder than I did in Florida, while elevating my financial knowledge to adjust to a new lifestyle.

At the moment it is freezing so I’m spending most of my time working out, working my amazing job and keeping my goals in order.

So far I’ve launched a podcast, Pour Into My Cup, my final project in this serial entrepreneur journey. My goal is to dedicate my time to being consistent with each project I’ve started and attacking the goals I set within them.

It is true New York will eat you alive, it is definitely a different mindset and way of living, but I’ve been up for the challenge. I can here with an open mind and a goal to accomplish everything I dreamed of.

Six months in and I have to disagree with everyone who says New Yorkers are rude. I have seen some of the kindness gestures from complete strangers.

I love this little city and can’t wait to explore more once it warms up. For now can I have more pho please?

Any questions that you have about my move to New York City? Have you made a big move recently?
